Brea McDonald is a great friend and colleague. It’s been incredible getting to know her personally and professionally since a serendipitous meet up in 2009. We grew up literally over the mountain from one another so we became fast friends. Now we are lucky to work one or two weddings a year together in addition to co-creating the third annual Relevant Workshop taking place April 26, 2018 at the Viewpoint Hotel in York, ME.

What I love about Brea’s style and approach to photographing an event is she just “get’s it.” She’s there but you don’t see her. She captures all the most emotional moments, big and small, but you don’t hear her camera shutter click 10 times to get one shot. She gets the shot. She knows weddings. She is excellent at anticipating but also at the ready for those in-between moments. She’s mindful of time, super efficient with family/group photos and portraits. One look at her portfolio will show the timeless and classic nature of her work. The best part… you will feel authentically like yourself when you look through your wedding photos.
