Inn at Burklyn Wedding Review

Meg Simone is beyond talented and we will forever be grateful to have our memories captured so beautifully. Not only is Meg a true professional, but she is the kindest, most understanding, and genuine person who made us feel such a sense of calm and comfort as we navigated through the unknown as we faced many challenges having to postpone our wedding a few times. While we all understood the safety of our guests came first, I will never forget the encouragement and support Meg offered us. Meg was sure always to be the first to check in on us and offer her genuine empathy and a positive attitude which always made us feel better. We were very impressed with how clear and consistent the communication was.

Exceptional professionalism and business practices aside, Meg’s videography work is pure magic. She is one of the most talented videographers who went above and beyond. We are blown away at the exceptional, high-resolution exceptional quality of her work. Meg sent us a sneak peek of our ceremony as we were on our honeymoon, and we were simply giddy as we laughed and cried, couldn’t wait to see more. We had a Halloween weekend wedding and received our full video right before Thanksgiving, which was so thoughtful knowing we would be able to share with our families and relive those memories. Meg, we were simply blown away by your attention to detail, capturing our wedding day as close to as it felt being there.

As a designer, I was most excited to see the details I designed and envisioned come to life! While I was busy getting ready, it was so fun to watch some of the behind-the-scenes setup happening! As I walked down the aisle seeing my flower installation for the first time, I was blown away, and you captured all the details on video perfectly. I loved watching the pre-ceremony excitement and chatter amongst family and friends. The best surprise was when Meg took the time to interview my Godmother, Brother, and 86 year old grandfather in a wonderfully natural and genuinely candid conversation prompting them to offer us well wishes. It was evident by Meg’s calming demeanor they felt comfortable and not caught off guard to say a few words to the camera. Those are memories I will cherish forever. It was so much fun listening to everyone’s toasts again, watching our special dances, as well as enjoying the visual details of our magnificent tables-cape and beautiful venue. Let me just say Vermont is LUCKY to have such talent, and so were we!
