Welcome to this special page dedicated to weddings at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Below I will showcase different celebrations from the last few years at the Mount Washington and give a brief description of what rooms and what locations on the Property are showcased. If you want to show family and friends who have not yet visited Bretton Woods, what the area looks like, this is a great visual tour of the area.
Winter weddings are often over looked, but personally I find them more romantic then ever, and with Skiing, Snowtubing, Sleigh-rides, the Canopy Tour, Dog Sledding, and the Spa, the winter is a perfect time to capture people in a more relaxed state then the busy hustle and bustle of the summer. This wedding ceremony was up the street from the hotel heading back towards Rt 3. You will recognize the Stone Church – St. Patricks on the corner of Rt 3 and 302. The cocktail hour was in the Conservatory, and the reception in the Grand Ballroom. The girls got ready in one of the Bridal Suites, Rm 119.
This wedding took place Labor Day 2011. This is a fantastic film to watch if you are looking to have multi day events all on the property. This couple provided endless events for guests to participate in, including a golf scramble, a hike, and the groom took his groomsmen out for the Canopy Tour. Other guests enjoyed the nearby Cog Railway that you can see from the back side of the hotel. It climbs up Mount Washington to the summit and is a great activity for people to get a birds eye view of the White Mountains. The Welcome Party took place on the back lawn around the fire pit with an acoustic guitar setting perfect countryside ambiance. Inside the Presidential Ballroom umbrella tables were set to bring the outside in. Ice-cream bar, food stations, the comradrie of the night was a perfect “welcome.” One wedding day the girls were prepping in Rm 119 while the groom was next door in the adjoining suite. The ceremony was on the Jewell Terrace, Cocktail hour on the South Verandah, and Reception in the Grand Ballroom.

This wedding took place on a rainy fall day, October 2012. This is a great film to watch to show you that no matter what the weather, it’s visually spectacular at the Hotel. Featured locations: Ceremony, South Verandah. Cocktail Hour Conservatory, Reception Grand Ball Room.
The Sun Dining Room! A new favorite spot in the hotel, perfect for smaller weddings just over 100 pp (check with the hotel for actual room capacity). This couple used three rooms that you don’t see very often. Her bridal suite was on the front side of the building in the corner and his suite was in the very top of the tower over the South Verandah. The first look was on the Jewell Terrace, the Ceremony on the South Verandah, the Cocktail Hour in the Conservatory, and the Reception in the Sun Dining Room. The views are amazing from this room, I hate to say it, better then the Grand Ballroom because they don’t close the window blinds so you can always look out to the view (unless it’s dark out).
This wedding was from 2010 – Ceremony on the Jewell Terrace, Welcome Party in the Sun Dining Room (BEFORE they painted it a light yellow), Cocktail hour on the South Verandah, Reception in the Grand Ballroom.
Mount Washington Hotel Wedding Film by Meg Simone Wedding Films filmed on location in Bretton Woods, NH at the Omni Mount Washington Resort . You’ll need undivided attention to soak in all this one has to offer. This story is layer upon layer of humor, love, and life lessons. It takes an unpredictable twist when the father of the bride delivers his toast, it’s something no one will ever forget! The more you watch the more you’ll learn, laugh and fall in love with these two families and their enthusiasm for this once in a lifetime experience.
This was a first… the wedding RECEPTION was on the Jewell Terrace! It was amazing! A night out under the stars! The ceremony was just across the street from the hotel, so the bride took a horse drawn carriage ride over, and the couple was able to ride back together. Photos were out in the front of the hotel, and the bride got ready in another suite, just down the hall from Rm 119 in the corner overlooking the golf course with views to the South. If you are looking to have your welcome party/rehearsal dinner onsite but not at the Hotel, Bretton Woods Base Lodge provided an amazing setting for this buffet welcome party. The views up the Ski Trails and out to the canopy tour were perfect, and the free shuttle between the hotel and ski resort was easy for guests to navigate. This is another wedding where some rain showers fell and a Plan B to move the ceremony to the South Verandah had to be implemented. You can tell that no matter what your “plan b” the views are stunning from every corner of the property, so really, there is nothing to worry about. EMAIL FOR VIDEO ACCESS.
The Canopy Tour! Don’t forget to have fun while you are here!
