Nantucket Golf Club Wedding Film of Chris and Whitney
Nantucket Island has long been a special place to both families. Despite lifes events, one thing has always remained constant… the memories, love, and sacredness that surround this magical island on their wedding day, and always.
This wedding was special to me in many ways. As you will hear in the video, sometimes things have to fall apart so other things can fall into place. The messages throughout are powerful and applicable to whatever personal situation you may relate this film to. I smile when I think of Whitney putting on her mom’s earrings, she’s glowing! I laugh when I see the dance floor shenanigans. I can’t imagine what my September would be like without witnessing this picture perfect day … plus I love any excuse to film around the island, and I got to work with my friends too!
Meg,Chris and I watched the edited film ….. and I honestly do not know where to begin. You can not imagine how incredibly grateful and appreciative we are to have had you a part of our wedding and have you in our lives. I am in tears as I write this…. I am just so touched. I am not sure how you seem to capture the best and most important parts of our day, but you do. I have never, ever, EVER seen work like this. You truly are a God in the film world!!!
You knew what to capture to include my mother which was so important to me. You seemed to know the relationships of all the guests because you captured goofy spirits and heartfelt moments at the perfect times.
Meg… I have NEVER seen something so beautiful.
I obviously had tissues in hand (I follow directions well).. but boy did I need more tissues than I thought! I am not sure you know this, but my grandmother (my mom’s mom) passed away November 7th in her sleep. You had some footage of me and her and I almost fell off my chair when I saw it. This means SO much to me and somehow you knew to capture her beautiful face a couple of times. THANK YOU SO MUCH for spending what must have been days, hours, weeks and months making our film perfect. There aren’t enough words in the world to actually express the kind of appreciation we have for you.
We absolutely love the dance party part of the edited version. SO FUN!!!!! The whole film was like a mini movie and I can’t believe the subject is US.
Flashback to last year….
After Chris and I had been engaged almost a year and had our wedding plans all finalized, I remember getting a call from Nicole. She asked me if I wanted a videographer. I said “probably not”. She said that a woman by the name of Meg Simone became available last minute and that I should at least look at her work before making a decision… So I took a look at your website and my mind was made up quickly. There is something about your films and the way you see your clients that sets you apart from all the others. You’re unbelievable. You’re thoughtful. You see what lies beyond the obvious. I absolutely love you for giving me and Chris something we’ll cherish forever and share with our children.
I am just not sure I am getting across how thankful I am for you. Still in tears… but I am also smiling. Thank you for making me feel this way. It feels amazing.
XOXO for now …. I will write again tomorrow because I am going to watch this 3 more times.
You’ve made my entire year….
