Dear Rose Studio – Custom Wedding Calligraphy by Cara Linehan Esch

It’s always fun to learn of past clients who have turned their passion (and personal planning detail) into a career. Bride Cara Linehan Esch wed June 2009 and is one of those amazingly talented clients. She started Dear Rose Studio, a custom Calligraphy Studio, in D.C. but just moved back to New England! You won’t believe where her work has already appeared! Check out her site for photo samples, in addition to her service offerings.  Below is Cara + Tom’s wedding preview (filmed by Kelly Cicero for me in 2009) so you can see how sweet, kind, and easy to talk to she is.

I’ve studied calligraphy at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC, and continue to expand my hand lettering skills in classrooms as well as through self-study. My work is unique because it is based on traditional alphabets but personalized with custom flourishes and accents that reflect the style and feel of each project.” – Cara Linehan Esch
